My Philosophy

My passion is sharing my philosophy on communication with horses to guide people like yourself with bringing balance, awareness to building your relationship with your equine partner

Communication is horses, is about relationships, is about finding ways of explaining, always remembering we are building a team, where we merge but still an individual.

When I am working with a horse, the horse is really training me towards a deeper understanding of balance in its many forms and of awareness of our mutual communication, whilst using the subtlest of cues, intentions and our energy.

I think in infinite possibilities, transferring uncertainty into opportunity. The journey along the path of togetherness, communication, awareness and keeping my life and my horses’ lives in balance on so many levels.

I am growing so much on this branch of my journey, like an oak tree. Growth stops when life ends.

I am refining my skills of observation of what my level of pressure means, be it through intent, an inner-feeling or physical, means to my horses, with growing awareness, balance and understanding.

For me, ultimately the goal is to ride from within, to be as though a “Centaur” two minds merging as one body, in lightness joining into softness. For my horses to be supple, fit and athletic into their twilight years.

The classical commonsense that horses share with me, I pay it forward. I strongly believe that we should always be searching and learning.

Communication with my horses is about finding ways of explaining what I am wanting with the least pressure as possible, always remembering we are building a team, where we merge but still individuals.

“What right have we not to be great for our equine partners, on this life long journey that we are embracing”

I use nature orientated training in many environments and I aim for us to enjoy the friendships and the discoveries of deeper awareness.

I create a nurturing space for you to find the clarity and tools to help you with your equine journey.

I am always searching for the beauty of when ‘you’ and ‘me’ become ‘we’
